Check out the Race & Sports Book too, as it is filled with individual monitors and several big-screen TVs to catch all the action. The 120,000 square feet casino is home to games such as video poker, slot machines, Pai Gow Poker, and Megabucks, among others. While you’re at it, staying at the Luxor would be incomplete without spending some time at the casino.
It is important to note that all the rooms at the Luxor are non-smoking, but there are smoking-designated areas throughout the casino. If this does not sound appealing, then make a reservation for the Luxor Tower rooms that connect directly to the pyramid. What’s more, pyramid rooms open up to the hallways and allow great views of the atrium below. The perk of staying in the pyramid rooms is that you get to ride an ‘inclinator’ to your room and at 39 degrees with stunning views, this tradeoff is an excellent deal. The pyramid rooms are a hit with those on a budget, but they are generally older and smaller compared to the Tower rooms. Make a reservation and choose between the pyramid rooms and the tower rooms. Make your way to the southern end of the Strip where you can’t miss the giant glass pyramid.
